Sad that more are not remembering what happened 15 years ago. Despite the bad things that are happening and not always agreeing we really are blessed and fortunate compared to others.
This is nice, love these cats, yes,We will always remember,,, but will They ever tell the Truth of Why and How it happened?1. is this was our excuse to go to war with the middle east, but we didn’t find out which country was directly involved until this year..Scary to think that trump wants to go take their oil.Whose oil? and why is he so confident that Mexico will pay for a wall, unless WE Use Nuclear blackmail?
Thank you for all of your kind comments Clearstream, jessegooddoggy, sueamarlucan, Jim Gardener, Perkycat, stairsteppublishing, Wabbit and crabbyrino! Today my heart is heavy. It doesn’t feel like 15 years. It still feels very raw. I will never forget 9/11. I remember being atop the towers a year before the attacks almost to the day. My heart goes out to all of the families directly affected. I cannot imagine what they have to endure daily. I have no words of wisdom or inspiration. I am simply deeply sad today.
Very touching. Beautifully done. I still find it hard to watch video or look at photos from that day. I can’t even imagine what the people on those planes were thinking or feeling. I was visiting the town where my grandmother was from in Ireland on that day. The Irish people were so kind and thoughtful to all Americans in the days after.
It’s now almost 7 years since you posted this. It’s true—we will never forget. I know a young woman who at the time lived where she could see the Towers. And this had to happen on her 12th birthday. I’m still amazed at how well she’s coped. I surely wouldn’t have.
