Well West Antartica is melting but its because of the active submarine volcanoes. If it was climate change then all of Antartica would be melting not just West.
Unfortunately, where scientific studies have been conducted e.g. in Hudson Bay, polar bear average weights have shown a steady downward trend. The reason for this is the gradually shortening ice season – ice on average is melting earlier every year, and forming later. Of course there is year to year variability, but this is the long term trend. Polar bears need ice because they hunt their main food, seals, from the ice. When the ice season shortens, they are stuck on land for longer. To compensate, some polar bears are eating more snow geese, but studies of polar bear energetics show that most polar bears cannot get enough energy this way. The result is the observed gradual decline in their weights. This particularly affects mother polar bears, since they need a great deal of extra energy for gestation and the nursing of their cubs.
