Take me to the river... A burglar was scared away from a bait and tackle shop in Rochester, Minnesota, when a novelty Big Mouth Billy Bass fish started singing! February 20 is National Handcuffed Day in the United States- in honor of George A. Carney's revolutionary lightweight adjustable handcuff, which he patented on that date in 1912. Colonel William Washington forced the surrender of more than 100 British loyalists during the American Revolutionary war without firing a shot- he painted a log to look like a cannon!
