Jason: Ok, here's the play: run one yard, turn around, and I'll pass it to you. Peter: One lousy yard?! How am I supposed to show off my sweet jukes in one yarde?! Jason: I don't think I can throw farther than a yard. Peter: Wimp. Jason: Fine. Run 24,880 miles and one yard, turn around, and I'll pass it to you. Peter: Hoo yeah! Now we're talkin'!

That’s a world-class pass.
SpasticusMaxzmus over 14 years ago
That is basically the circumference of the earth. That + 1 Yard would be exactly the same as a 1 yard pass.

JUKE - to fake out of position (as in football)

Hi, I’m JAD. This would only work if they were at the equator, otherwise. he would run too far. If Jason can only throw one yard, he may be suffering from laziatitis, a common disease among school children. Proper attention by his parents is needed. Or, if you look at the Greek translation, it may be caused by excessive masturbation. Here at the old folk home (not nursing home), section 8 not paying our heating costs cause similar symptoms.

Add to all of the above commentary that unless the Fox residence is on the very High Plains, I predict failure due to terrain and topography.

Hey Bad Dog, no I’m not Joe Allen Doty, though I’ve wondered what did happen to him. I’ve been reading here for a long time & just recently joined, whatever, here.

Perhaps Peter should just run to the neighbors’ yard. (That’s one yard, right? Sorry… )
alviebird over 14 years ago
Don’t apologize. That’s probably the best comment here today.

SpasticusMaxzmus, JAD was banned from GoComics for harassing other users. He now replies to GoComics’ cartoonists’ Facebook accounts.

Is me or art little strange.
BradyB66 about 14 years ago
I think it looks strange because the fence in the background is so short. Makes Jason look tall and Peter look freakish! The perspective is definitely off.

He can only throw a football one yard? He seems to do all right with snowballs.

So they’re near the equator, then. Assuming Peter runs roughly parallel to the lines on latitude, that is. He could run a different route, of course…
MJ J about 4 years ago
Hey peter, if you Really wanted to show your skills you could make a trip around the observable universe getting back here and run two hundred ninety-two billion twenty million lightyears and one yard.
MJ J almost 2 years ago
Its funny because he’ll end up in the exacpt smae place.
