Genesis without Peter Gabriel were rubbish.

Andy’d not far off on the idea of the Biblical theme. The first Genesis album was “From Genesis to Revelation.” The title was there producer’s idea. He so completely controlled the album that they broke from him afterward so they could do things their way. It didn’t sell anyway.

Still, it’s a really nice album, even if it’s not what you expect from Genesis. More like the Moody Blues crossed with late 60s Bee Gees.
