Yeah, that must be why she hasn’t even been indicted despite the three decades of ever-heightening accusation and insinuation by the GOP. It was a card given to her, for no conceivable reason, by the Republican-appointed and rather partisan head of the FBI. Now it all makes perfect sense. To some.
Believe it or not, police agencies are also bound by that old, “probable cause” in determining whether to make an arrest, then prosecutors review if there is a recommendation that such viable charges exist to take the person to a grand jury.
Too large a component of the ignorant public followers have given Trump an immunity card for any and all charges, which he’s confessed to on tape, in video, and on live radio and TV! Give me a break Bok!
“Donald Trump admitted that he does in fact have a relationship with Vladimir Putin, in newly surfaced a 2013 video which asked very specifically about his relationship to the Russian strongman. The Republican nominee then said that he has a relationship with Putin – twice, and with emphasis – then proceeded to trash President Obama, while undeniably praising Russia’s President as “very brilliant” for his handling of Syria, and praising Putin’s leadership.”
Here’s the Federal Treason Statute:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)
Helping Trump spread a paranoid vision of a “fixed” system is not exactly a service to your country, Chip. It’s one thing to have different politics. Undermining the nation crosses a line.
I have cited Article III Section3 on these pages as much as anyone, but there are a few details you left out. “Enemy” is defined by a declaration of war passed by a majority of each house of Congress and ended with a treaty passed by 2/3 of the Senate.. Those are the Second (treaty defeated) and Third (never submitted) German Empires, a bit of a moot point these days, since those countries no longer exist. Thus the “aid and comfort” clause might apply to various neo-Nazi and master race groups, but not to many others. Levying war is a stronger case, but vague references to “second amendment remedies” by unregulated, self-proclaimed militia thugs do not connect closely enough to Trump, no matter how actionable each are separately. They are a mild nuisance to the nation, and a real danger to those around them and action is needed to protect the citizenry. But for Trump himself, an ignominious defeat at the polls, followed by prosecution for various frauds, tax evasion, etc. is the proper course.

Proves that the “MSM” can’t be that biased since the Beacon Journal endorsed Hillary Clinton for President.

Comey was a great guy until he failed to do the GOP’s work by taking her out and thus giving their hugely flawed candidate the only chance he had.
