For several years we had a spider that would move in and build a huge web on the end of our porch a few weeks before Halloween. On Halloween night I would lightly mist it then shine a light on it. It was gorgeous. The spider would hide up near the top and when someone would inevitably touch the web to see if it was real, the spider would race down and they would scream.
I miss that spider.
