The country is Espana, and the language is Espanol, (with tildes, of course.) Not sure what all that has to do with casting Jennifer Lawrence in Mulan, though.
A new Hollywood trend started by Disney with the recent Jungle Book (with a sequel already planned because of its success). Disney has already announced yesterday a live-action Lion King which may be harder since there are no humans seen in the animated version. At least Mulan would have the advantage of real people. The trend is to also reach an Asian and world-wide market

Well, there is a live-action movie from 2009, but made actually in China (someone named Wei “Vicki” Zhao as the titular character).

I’ve certainly noticed more Espania on tv in non-Spanish venues from cartoons to tv shows and movies.

Jennifer Lawrence? I’m surprised they didn’t say Erika Fong.
