It seems M & H are still having problems with player’s uniforms. A few weeks ago they had a baseball pitcher in road grays pitching to a batter wearing home whites - at the top of the inning (this was stated). Today they have both contending players wearing the colored (usually home) jerseys. Not done in either college or pro. If the strip can’t be made amusing, at least pay attention to the details.
Typically the cartoonists do not do the coloring of the comics. This is usually done by someone else after the fact, as the majority of comics are drawn in black and white.

This is a great statement on how much the NFL coddles quarterbacks nowadays. Used to have to be tough to be a QB - now you can be a wussie prima donna.
And Al - as joe said, it’s a freakin’ COMIC STRIP. Try picturing how this would look if he DID have one of the players in a white uniform - it would look stupid.
While it is unusual for both teams to wear colored jerseys, it does occasionally happen (at least in college). For example on Election Night 2008, the University at Buffalo (blue) played Miami (OH - red) on national tv. Both teams were allowed to wear colored jerseys to play up the political themes of the night.
Unless the colors are so similar as to be confused, why shouldn’t both teams be allowed to wear colored jerseys? Why shouldn’t the home fans get to the see the visitors’ colors? Joe is right; if you have to defend or tackle a color if you are wearing white, or white if you are wearing a color, should you even be in college?

It’s a comic strip! And if you need special uniforms to tell the players apart you shouldn’t be on the field.

Another 10 for contempt of NFL rule-makers.
