In one hand she holds a spear, in the other she bears a small, 15 items or less basket with which to whomp her foes! Alice: That's it! I want to be queen rattlebasket for halloween! Alice: so this better not be some dumb thing you made up, Dill! Dill: ha ha ha! of course not!

so if the rest of the class were the rest of the royal court of the cart herders, would Kevin be the jester?

If you’ll look at yesterday’s comments, I’d say The Saccharine-Free Bakery peeked. Or he’s psychic.

“If you’ll look at yesterday’s comments, I’d say The Saccharine-Free Bakery peeked. Or he’s psychic”
Not difficult to do since every strip on here has been run before.
Next Madeline will make a costume using Petey’s Viking helmet and a spear made of cardboard. Alice will come home in a foul mood after trick or treating because no one heard of Queen Rattlebasket. And Dill will address the preschool about how shocked he was to encounter the ignorance of people who have never heard of Wobblewheel , King of the cartherders..
And Petey also suffers from a negative trick or treating experience, and then has to spend time separating and cataloging his candy.

We all know they are reruns…….can’t we just enjoy each one in it’s own time?
And who cares if it is less or fewer if we all understand what it means.
I enjoyed the comic when I read it. Maybe I’m better off not reading the comments Geesh!

For some reason, I get a strong “Peanuts” vibe from this one. Panel 2 reminds me of Linus retelling the story of the Great Pumpkin, and panel 3 is evocative of Lucy confirming Charlie Brown’s self-diagnosis (That’s it!).

And as for you, Alice, shut up and sit down. Dill just saved your self-absorbed, whiney, neurotic little self, so stow it. (And I meant each word.)

Well, since we’re being anal retentive with our grammar today, how do you ask for involuntary defenestration?

Of course Dill didn’t make it up, Alice! Everyone has heard of the fearsome warrior Queen Rattlebasket the Forceful! She’s almost as popular as Xena the Warrior Princess!
Yay, Dill, mighty Solver of Indecisiveness!
