Alice: Im drawing a duck. Dill: I draw some dirt. Alice: It's a giant duck! Dill: I draw the moon. It hits the duck! Alice: I draw a rocket to push the moon away! Dill: Darn! I'll draw a dog! Alice: A dog? so what? Dill: He wants to howl at the moon, so he bites the rocket. alice: My grandma's dog. Big Shirley, eats your dog! dill: darn! Alice: Hey! Dill: I'm drawing bigger Shirley! Alice: I draw biggest Shirley. Who uses up all the paper! Dill: Darn! Alice: That wasn't a very good drawing fight. Though I did win. Dill: Nothing beats biggest Shirley!

Reminds me of both the Wizard’s Duel in “The Sword in the Stone” (Disney movie or sure – don’t remember if it’s in the book) and the Chinese folktale “The Most Remarkable Cat” (a recording of Danny Kaye telling it is on YouTube).
