    Only since it’s not in a sealed wrapper, no kid can eat it. Been that way since before I was a kid and now-a-days it’s not just “poison” or “tampering” you have to watch for, it’s allergies. My kids can’t even take homemade treats into school…

    Sorry, but Lola is correct. Halloween is nothing like it used to be, so let the kids have candy! Amy must be a Lib. Try’s to micromanage everyone’s lives as to what they eat.

    Stick with the pre-packaged pre-approved candy. No sense wasting your time, money, and food.

    Saw little packets of Chex Mix with the Halloween candy at Walmart yesterday. Seems like a good idea to me. Still a treat, but not as much sugar.

    I give out stickers and fake tattoos… fun non-food things for the kids.
