You know, when I was a kid, I learned that the Leaning Tower was leaning more and more over the years. It was predicted that eventually the Tower would indeed fall over. They were predicting that it would be likely to collapse in 2010. Now as a kid, that seemed so far away and that I’d likely be dead by then, but I was only 36. And look at that! It’s still standing! Sort of.

I read that some people think the tower is leaning on purpose. As a joke.

Spent a week in Branson, and look what happens!

Re Saturday’s question: My cell phone is in the car, ready to turn on for emergencies, ordering takeaway, or telling my wife I’m delayed, not deceased.

I think they did some work on the foundation of the Tower to keep it from leaning any further.

OK, that sounds much better!

But I still don’t understand why Bev left(?) – she still could have showed pics the way I described, the length restriction of the comments is reasonable enough now, and last but not least – there are zillions of people here who miss her!
