Lynn’s Notes:When my marriage dissolved, I was on my own wondering if I would ever find someone to share my life with again. When I did go out with a gentleman, I always wanted to know if they met with my children’s approval!
Had the pleasure of spending a few days in Vermont last week. Unfortunately, the foliage hadn’t reached its peak.
In the Stuy Town complex in NYC, the squirrels are so brazen that they will come up people to ask for nuts. They will then sniff the peanut and if they don’t like it, toss it away.
Comicsssfan. It’s almost mid-October and I still have tomatoes in the back yard.I can remember getting frost in late August, early September 30 years ago,but now the grass is green, there’s leaves on trees, and the tomatoes and zucchini are still growing .Global warming,or climate change is good for my region, but maybe not so good for other parts of the world.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course
And noone can talk to his horse, of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed
.
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He’ll give you the answer that you’ll endorse
He’s always on a steady course
Talk to Mr. Ed
.
People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day
But Mr. Ed will never speak unless he has something to say
.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course
And this one’ll talk till his voice is hoarse
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well listen to this:
.
“I am Mr. Ed”
.
Great memories

Oh how I wish. My neighborhood squirrels ate all of my persimmons last week and are now going after my porch pumpkins!

Mrs. Baird didn’t call him ‘Mr. Ed’. That was added by the posters here.

When my wife and I began going together, it was very important to her that I met with her grown sons and their families.
I’m not sure who was more pleased. Her family, herself or me because they wholeheartedly accepted me and made me immediately feel part of the family.
They were truly happy that their mom was happy.
