Will Rover go to another friend’s house and find that Miss Chris is that friend’s girl, too? And again and again, until it turns out that she’s the Squeal on Wheels for half the local bachelors?
I’m worried about Miss Chris. She seems to be self-destructive– and she may take Rover, as well as her next bus full of children, right down the proverbial mine shaft with her!
I think Hector’s “midget ghosts” may turn out to be a Greek chorus. I bet tomorrow they’ll give us a whole lot of exposition about Harold and Chris and the history of their relationship.
Maybe Chris is trying to prod Harold into ‘tying the knot’– or whatever a permanent commitment is euphemistically called when a welder is involved– by getting herself and Rover onto Facespace.

Maybe Rover can find a TV set and watch the mine rescue in Chile and thank his lucky stars that the gang doesn’t send him there.

Ladyfinger - If that’s true, you need to quit reading Gasoline Alley altogether, because it’s always a soap opera.

A-HA! Now it makes (more) sense. But seriously, Miss Chris goes out with this slob?

No wonder Miss Chris kissed Rover. She is trying to upgrade.

With Scancarelli at the pencil, it’s more like “the thick plottens”.

I’d make a welding joke, but it might be unseamly.
