Satchel Pooch: Rob, there're like, 500 good reviews for "Dr. Strangelove." Why does the one negative one bother you? Rob Wilco: I don't think you should criticize other people's work if you don't even understand it. ...but you're right it's not like I made the movie, I shouldn't get all bent- Satchel Pooch: Hold on... what does "sophomoric" mean? Rob Wilco: Ok, I don't care if this was written in 1964, I want contact information.

Hate to break it to you but the question wasn’t how did they write a review but how did they post a comment on a social media website before there was open access to the internet. Some people have a greater need to feel superior to others than they have reading comprehension skills.

I wonder what proportion of pre-internet movie reviews have been digitized? Of those that have been, how many are NOT from mainstream media reviewers?

I can’t criticize Dr. Strangelove. I don’t even know what it is. I know who Dr.Strange is though.

Stanley Kubrick didn’t make very many movies in his lifetime, but each one was a masterpiece. And he never repeated himself.
