Transcript:
Jeremy: Mrs. D, I know you were a bit reluctant to go out with me, but once you get to know me, I'm sure we'll hit it off! Lacey: I'm sure we will, too, Jeremy. Jeremy: I mean, I know that I march to a different kettle of fish... and it's true I sometimes don't have both sails in the water, that I don't always play with a full house of cards... but aren't those just tired cliches? Lacey: Very nearly, dear.

How on earth did jeremy actually get this far in life?
He is a total loser to the nth degree.

i cannot recall what Jeremy does professionally. But I’ll hazard a guess that whatever it is, it’s obscure, rare, valuable, and he is some sort of analog to an idiot savant at it.

Tired old cliches? I think the actual term is “mixed metaphors” isn’t it? Or in this case, tired old mixed metaphors. As for Jeremy, I wonder if he’s a cousin to the character Milton Waddams in the movie, Office Space? Wouldn’t you like to watch those two at lunch?

Jeremy may be the end result of all that inbreeding among the members of the monied class. You see where that gets you. jeremy.

He’s not rich, he’s quite broke. Lacey ended up leaving him some money. I assume he has some kind of trust fund doled out month to month and he’s always broke by day four.

Despite his social awkwardness, it’s hard not to like Jeremy. He is totally without guile.

Well, if you look at Ben Carson, you can see how somebody can be absolutely brilliant at their job and a stunned bunny away from it.
