Next up….an exciting tale of Tarzan visiting a strange land, being captured, thrown in prison, propositioned by a sex-starved queen, sentenced to a lion pit/crocodile pond…well we all know the rest! ;)> Round&RoundWeGoAGowa!!
Thudos? Was he a good guy or a Nemonista? Is Tarzan going to let these folks be or introduce them to the world at large? They’d make a great National Geographic article.
Curious, not only did they leave out Tarzan’s friend lion, Jad-bal-ja, but in the book the kingship goes to the real king, Alextar (Nemone was presumably the dtr of the previous king and a slave girl). He was imprisoned by Nemone & Tomos & M’duze.
Thudos is Doria’s father, so would-be father in law to Gemnon. Definitely NOT a Nemonista.
If there is one thing I don’t like about these Tarzan strips is that there is no wrap-up. It just suddenly ends leaving a lot of loose strings. It starts out by rescuing that guy, they get split up, and while they meet briefly in the course of the strip, we never hear from him again as the strip changes story themes. Still a well drawn strip though and much better than the Sunday Tarzan strips.

They need that guard from the Wizard of Oz to deliver those last lines.

Nemone must have been dying her hair black. I’m sure she must have been a blonde.
