Sorry, I just don’t get this.

I am very confused today as well. He is obviously talking to Santa…. is he skyping? Or what? Or is this a radio show of some sort?

The “You’re online with Dr. Appleby” sounds like he is on a radio show and is coming back from a break. So, perhaps Santa has phoned into the “show” wherever it is, and maybe that is where the “confidentiality” aspect comes into play.

But, why is Dr. Appleby IRATE? Santa did not release any of the content of the letters, so the confidentiality was not broken.

That is his call in radio show.

IMHO, Me thinks many posters are reading too deep into this tread, "Dear Santa, Please never acknowledge any of my attempts to communicate with you,
