The cat was Mimsie. She also appeared on Mary Tyler Moore & St. Elsewhere. In the final episode of St. Elsewhere she was shown on a surgical gurney with an IV & EKG… & she flatlined.
Mimsie was given a loving forever home with a crew member’s family & lived to a ripe old cat age of 18.
