    And this universe that we are part of is but one of an infinite number of universes in infinite space. I define a universe as a collection of matter that expanded outward from a big bang which in turn is the big explosion of matter from a singularity that got too massive.

    There was nothing in the beginning. Nature abhors a vacuum. So voila! The big bang! A creator is really not needed.
