It is September 20 already - and still no walk in the woods to survey the fall colors. I hope they are NOT going to skip the walk in the woods again this year! When WAS the last year when there was a “walk in the woods” strip for Gasoline Alley?

Maybe the preacher has some hidden away and takes a small sip before retiring for the day Joel. for his health like it says in the GOOD Book, but that was wine. A moonshine -wine mixture. Like those two name brand beverages of wine & coffee mixed together and called it “Christian Folgers”.

If the preacher has to deal with the likes of Joel and Rufus he probably has a BIG jug hidden away!!

There was moonshine. moonshine to quench the Devil’s thirst. The law swore they’d get him, but the Devil got him first…………………

I tried moonshine once. Makes me slur my words just thinking about it. Remember - if you brush something of your shoulder and it’s the floor, it is now time to stop drinking

It is more efficient to give the exception.

Never knew Joel had a last name. What’s Rufus’s?

I keep wondering whether or not we will finally get another one of Walt’s walk through the woods with Skeezix this year. It seems strange that such a wonderful annual event would be passed over so many years in a row.
