    Every life form goes after eating and never stops. Generally out in the wild they can never over eat. However as pets they can. They have no off switch.

    You led a very sheltered life. I was “putting a good pack mule out of work”, to quote a bus driver who took us to our route with a 65 pound pack (45 was the legal limit, but I got a official write-up when I was caught weighing mine). I carried mail to a few ’hoods and barrios in those days, and they hardly resembled that sentimental fun.
