Dad: Ahoy! Lookit! I finally found it! It's the screenplay I began writing back in school! It's about the uptight Tucker family in Kokomo, who take in a European exchange student! Imagine their surprise when she's actually Europa-Ian, fro mthe sixth moon of Jupiter! Spoiler alert! She teachers them to live, laugh, and love, and of course there's a dance number to a spunky retro hitt!! And her telekinetic skills come in handy when the homecoming game is disrupted by lava goons from inner earth! Well, time to polish this gem and send it off to Hollywood!!

As Bob Dylan said, “the times are a-changing.” (Good luck finding a computer that actually takes those kinds of disks.)

On one hand, everything’s obsolete; on the other, you can get adapters and emulators for just about everything. No one gets left behind.

So you didn’t bother to print it out? Did you write any of it on paper? I see this as a Disney comedy musical on their networks. Go to a computer store of such and you probably iwll find equipment they can use to print it out and even put it on a flash drive.

Someday that may be happening with CDs and DVDs! No Macs on the market currently have an optical disc drive, and the number of PCs with said drive are rapidly decreasing (except for most PC towers, but the laptops and all-in-ones often lack the drive nowadays.)

My 2004 computer, that I still use, has that kind of floppy drive.

It would have been a hit if you hadn’t procrastinated………..

Actually an even bigger problem is that after several years, such a disk is most likely damaged.
