Lots of dogs have eaten chocolate(sometimes a lot of it) and never had a problem. My friend’s kid was upset because the dog down the street was old, fat and sick and ready to die. He was saying you can’t give dogs junk food, as he was stuffing his face. I guess it did not apply to people.
For years, dogs got table scraps and cornbread with meat drippings. Did you ever think that vets say these things because of the dog food industry.
No, I do not feed my dogs chocolate, but if they got some, I wouldn’t be running to the emergency vet right away.
