Petey: You're going to wear those plastic fangs to Grandmas for Thanksgiving? Alice: Yesh. Because I forgot to wear them on Halloween. And because they'll scare away Grandma's giant dog, Big Shirley. And also because Mom's turkey always comes out dry and it's hard to chew. Petey: Makes sense to me.

Hopefully, Iwon’t need to resort to such drastic measures. It’s my mom’s first time cooking a turkey.

Easiest way to avoid dry turkey/ Eat the dark meat (that’s where all the flavor is, too)!

I love this story arc. I was thinking about it yesterday, and I wondered if we might see it this year.

Anybody remember Spike Jones advertising Wet Turkey cigarettes? Oh, and the easiest way to avoid dry turkey is to brine it overnight first.

Big Shirley gets a bad rap from Alice. I’m not sure about Madeline’s alleged dry, hard-to-chew turkey.

I’ve found if you bake the turkey upside down for 1-2 hours, the meat is juicier than if you cook it the entire way right side up

Unfortunately those teeth make you salivate and hard to talk. They make lousy eating teeth too.
