Peter: First thing we'll do is clean of Grandma's dining room table. Grandma: Careful, there are several layers of Christmas ornaments on there. Alice: Mawa gah ha gama! Grandma: Is she teething again? Madeline: Alice, take those fangs out of your mouth, please. Petey: There's something melted on this pile. I don't want to touch it. Peter: It's just wax, or cake frosting, or um... better not touch it.

Nothing like Thanksgiving at Mema’s with Big Shirley nipping at your knees . . .

Funny.

We have a very old neighbor who is just like Grama. She is eccentric, very much an individual, and has gotten to the point where she doesn’t give a toss what others think, and has no wish to prove herself to anyone. I love her to pieces and hope she can live to be 150. No big Shirley though.

Hoarding, buried alive. I hope I don’t be that granma.

That looks like my mum’s table. She got to be a real hoarder in her old age. But, if you live through the Depression and WWII, you tend to save everything.
