Girl: Good habits take forever to adopt, but bad habits come on just like that. Seems like a problem that could be easily solved by a simple shift in frame of reference.
Frazz: Which, curiously, is not a pattern you want to get into.
How does the artwork relate to the text? Is she referring to something she’s doing or has just done? What is she taking a picture of with the phone? Why are her feet pulled up on the chair? Why are there books dropped on the floor? What is Frazz going to clean up with the spray and paper towels? Is there any meaning to him putting the spray down on the stack of books?
Anyway, Paul wrote about this problem in Romans ch. 7. It’s just the human condition.I’m paraphrasing but it is something like:………I didn’t even know what “coveting” was until someone taught me the commandment “THOU SHALL NOT COVET”. And then, I found myself coveting everything. The problem is that I don’t end up doing the good things I want to do, but the bad things that I’m trying to avoid…that’s what I end up doing! The solution is in the next chapter: Romans Ch.8
