You know your soccer team is really bad when, “What a load of rubbish” becomes their official song.

Did Andy trip over the Ref’s seeing eye dog again?

That will teach you to play teams cross the pond. That damned Yank Jeter fell pretending injury and the damned Ref almost fell for it. Too bad you couldn’t have played Boston, but they seldom play in October.

Flo you know your guy so well. If Andy wasn’t so lazy he might help his team win. Oh well Andy have Flo give you money and drawn your sorrows beer.

Perrenial strugglers Norwich City once arrived to a home game with their own fans singing “We’re bleeep - and we know we are!” (to the tune of the Village Peoples’ “Go West”.) The fans realised they’d better get reality out of the way first before the other side’s fans did!

Andy Capp’s graceless attitude would be a shoe-in at Manchester United, whose players - and manager - are renowned for mobbing the referee if he gives a decision they don’t agree with.
