    Actually, the “Super Moon” isn’t that big a deal. To a casual observer, Luna’s appearance and effects on tides and the like will not appear perceptionaly different than it normally does during a full phase. If Luna does appear bigger and brighter, the fact you were told it should be may have an influence.

    Now, sadly, our comic writer has gotten it wrong. Of course, the full moon will be visible from everywhere! Also, wish that he had incorporated Al’s observation — more science, less hype.

    Now, what would be a funny follow-up and corrective would be Brewster being convinced that he could tell the moon was bigger!
