    I’ve been reading the “Mitford” series of books again. One of the favorite meals served at the Main Street Grill is livermush, grits with butter and eggs.

    Liver mush is sort of a baked pudding/sausage/cornbread combination. It is made from pork liver, pork scraps, and cornbread. It is popular in the Carolinas and a few other places in the South.
