Lynn’s Notes:The dialogue in this strip may result in some cranky mail. The word “nidiot,” of course, doesn’t exist. But the way kids talk to each other is exactly like this. I was constantly trying to create sound effects and speech patterns, which would read the way someone casually speaks.
It’s a shame that some people feel obligated to elevate their perceived level of intelligence by pointing out the tiniest “errors” in others’ writing or grammar. It must be something lacking in their self-image.
Mac and cheese? We call it Kraft dinner in Canada, and it’s great comfort food on a cold day.Fry up some weiners to go with it and you got a meal fit for a king! Well,I like it anyway.

Why does Lynn always misspell “stupid” as “stoopid”? I assume it’s on purpose, but I’m not getting the joke. She doesn’t misspell “doofus”. LOL

Elizabeth is batting .000 in the way of courtesy to others and manners. Come Christmas she can have a cookout with the charcoal in her stocking.

Actually, it’s supposed to be “dufist.” With a “t” on the end.
sjsczurek about 8 years ago
Note also that “dufist” has a long “u” sound; similar to that in “ruthless.”
