I’m amazed at how easy it was for her to get the guys out of the house.

She gets to taste-test without competition! Why doesn’t her black apron look white with flour? There’s a reason why I use a white apron for baking.

I usually kick people out of my kitchen when I cook. She kicked them out of the entire house. genius

Great idea! Of course, when they get home, they’ll smell the baked goods. I think it is cruel to smell fresh baked goods, and not be able to have at least a sample, so I bake enough to allow for that. Helps too, if I’ve made an invisible flop, that way they’re taste tested for quality.

Is that your way of saying “First!”? ☺

I would assume gift wrapping, not secret cookie making. They must be awfully grabby.

Her excuse might have backfired if the guys decided to stay. She should have claimed she would be house cleaning if she wanted to make sure they left.

Well, no, it’s not a big deal, and yes, you should also post something germane if you are going to say “first”. And actually, I thought it was a good joke!
