So if Kevin doesn’t actually get to do the QB stunt … then all that stuff back in September had nothing to do with the plot, didn’t advance the plot one iota. Do I have that right?
So Heather’s illegal block yesterday wasn’t called and Milford scores. 26-24? Did they go for 2 and failed or did they miss the kick? I guess using the former female soccer player for the kick never occurred to those “smart coaches.”
Can they hold off The Vocats or will they wind up losing? We should know maybe Saturday.
Moose looks as confused as the rest of us in P3. Even he thought he was going to get a shot to throw in this last game. Oh well, maybe Gil will put him at QB for the victory formation. If they get there.
Well, if Pelwicki hadn’t wanted to be the qb, and had never worked out with Heather, we would have never known she was a lousy soccer player because she spent all her time doing football drills. They say it takes a million touches to make a good soccer player—I’m guessing Heather has touched a soccer ball about a dozen times.
As a linebacker, Moose has keys to look for thanks to the scouting report the coaches put together in the practice sessions leading up to the game. BBHHAAAWWWWW HAH HAH HAH!!!
This is very unrealistic. What are the odds that VT would also have been working on a draw play? I mean, didn’t Gil invent that play just for this game?
Oh boy, now we get to see Moose make the great defensive play to save the game on a draw/screen, just as Heather predicted for no good reason. They both are heroes and her future coaching career is underway.
I’m concerned about Heather’s health. She doesn’t see time until 4 minutes left in the game, she goes in for one play, and she is sweating profusely. Get her to the doctor!
P-1: Shuford is then ejected for making a handgun as his victory sign. P-2: Gil seems confused. Times running out and he’s telling the Captains to call heads in the coin toss. P-3: suffering from a premature hot flash, Heather deliriously still makes the right call.
P-3: Apparently, Heather is telling Kevin two separate things. She seems to believe someone in the stands is going to do what they did. (Hmmm.) The second item is possible plays by VT.
Sigh … duped again into thinking the majority of this storyline was leading somewhere. But I continue to look forward to the promise of the next storyline. Such dreams provide this temporary illusion of a strip that has meaning.
So is Moose supposed to be anticipating a screen or draw on every play? Seems like he won’t be ready when VT starts throwing the ball downfield or runs the ball on most downs. And speaking of being ready, I hope you are ready to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/
It looks as though Heather will end up on the coaching staff, though shouldn’t she go to college first? I am still hoping that a new season of “Welcome Back…” will turn the coaching reins over to me!

…and look out for a forward pass, Kevin. I think you can discount them running a quick kick.
