Adam: I know, honey. I tried to get up early to run... ...But it's too hard when it's still dark out. Which tells me that we should sleep in 'til the sun comes up. It's natural...all part of our circadian rhythms. Laura: We'd miss school. Adam: That's the rub. How will we ever get the kids to agree?

If God had wanted me up before 6, he would have lit the lamp earlier.

Horses for courses.
For me, 0430 hours every day. I love the drive into the city at sunrise.
I can hear the CD player (used as an alarm clock) wind up to play the first song of Celtic Hymns (wife finds it a perfect compromise between too gentle to wake up a person and too jarring for every day.
Love it unless I failed to get to bed before 2200 hours the night before.
Gracias,

I’m sure they’d be willing to try it out for a couple of years or so.

My kids had no problem with waiting until 10 am to do school, so we didn’t have to get up when it was still dark. Ah, the beauty of homeschooling! Of course, that sometimes meant that they’d be working on their school work until 5pm or later, but we all preferred that to starting earlier.
