Rose is Rose by Don Wimmer and Pat Brady for December 18, 2016
Transcript:
"My first encounter started with an eerie creak and a foul stench... I could feel his desperate eyes glaring up from the bedroom floor... I heard his pudgy paws clawing on the nightstand as he frantically tried to lift himself up... His grip was too weak and he oafishly tumbled into the darkness... I was temporarily startled by the crash... And the whimpering beast scurried back to his lair..." Jimbo: I never did see his face that night. Pasquale: You were lucky to have such a cowardly closet monster, daddy! Monster: That's not how I remember it! Monster 2: Make the whimpering beast sound, pop!

When will monsters be allowed to come out of the closet? I guess it’ll be when they also come out from beneath the beds.

Considering they have a cat but no dog, I would assume he didn’t have a dog when a child. Hardly conclusive, but indicitive.
