When I was in Navy boot camp I got to comparing notes with a chap I met. Turned out we had been best buds in first grade and he had moved away the next summer. But I wouldn’t consider that newsworthy.

I guy I ran around with after high school was in the same city as I, 1500 miles from home. Found out about it when I ran across his obituary.
