You got to be careful about that. I recall a fellow who slammed his bowling ball on a concrete floor. It rebounded back to hit him in the chin. Knocked him right out.

Marcus must have had some frustrating times at Ballard Lanes. Sometimes you get on a bad streak, it’s true, but Marcus don’t give up! The Cubs just won the World Series!

Marcus’s other sporting equipment has suffered similar fates; his golf clubs, tennis racket, billiard cue, croquet mallet. Marcus doesn’t do well with disappointment. Remember, Marcus, “If at first you don’t succeed, failure may be your thing!”

Is that his spare ball, or has he gone on strike?

Unfortunately for the mailman and the folks strolling down the avenue, (not to be confused with Ballard Lane ) Marcus had invented a new pastime sport. He was elated when he scored a 65.233 on his first attempt at playing and thought he might have a chance at excelling. Although he knew he would get something just for participating.

I guess that he’s not having a ball with bowling.

A passing truck driver is about to request a few of Marcus’ spare moments to discuss in what manner his ball is to be returned…

I love bowling……..I’m the only one, Nobody will go with me.

Maybe I’ll call Marcus and invite him to go shopping, he needs a new hobby.

But first he has to go “bowling for dollars”.

I would need about 70 fewer pounds and knee surgery to bowl again. I miss it. My last book was 200, falling from 210 when my knee barely held me up for the final six weeks or so …

Maybe he should wear a less-distracting bowling shirt.
