I’m going to build a little cabin out of Duluth and L.L. Bean catalogs. I’ll use shredded Target circulars as mortar. Another week, and I’ll have enough to start.
Years ago a friend of mine got on as many mailing list as he could….then used the huge pile of catalogs in his wood stove to heat his house for the winter. Not efficient, but desperate times called for drastic measures.
I love this! I just don’t get why companies send me two catalogs a week this time of year, plus more for every other company their corporate overlord also owns, I mean, it’s great for the post office’s revenue, but…

We get very few catalogs, except the food and catering ones that are addressed to the day care center that was here eight years ago.
