Had a friend who had a Great Pyrenees dog named Foot. If something went missing in the neighborhood everyone knew where to look first. He collected anything he could carry; lawn chairs, kitty pools, big wheels, etc.
The dog house I acquired for my St. Bernard was big enough to run a floating crap game out of !
It took four strong men and a boy to move !
With double swinging doors, a roof that could be raised for additional ventilation, and a tiled floor with a removable carpet, it really was a doggie palace for a large breed dog.
.
My dog hated it ! She prefered to sleep on the ground or ( when she could get away with it ) in our house.
.
I had a wedding picture of me entering that dog house. I rightly figured, I’d spend more time in it than the dog !
