    catsup vs. ketchup?

    Personally, everyone I have ever heard say the word has always pronounced it ketchup. Is it some regional thing that pronounces it catsup?

    I’ve only heard it pronounced “cat-sup” once in my life, and that was on a TV show when I was in my teens.
