unfortunately, Wisdom can’t be implanted and so many people come out of school with very little of it.
And I think I saw a movie about this once. The oddball, who could not connect with the master computer for instant knowledge, was the one to save the day when the computer crashed. No one else knew how to research and study and learn.
When the nanos reach the brain we will all be online. We will all know everything everyone knows. No more secrets. You will assimilate. Resistance is futile.

From what I see coming out of schools, that is the only reason the kids go, other than to not get grounded for skipping out.
