Exactly! A remote with one button and the associated equipment knows what you want to do.
Ben you call yourself a man? Go have a talk with Arlo he can use em all with his eyes closed! Just ask him.
I still haven’t figured out why mine has a second button.
two door garage. left door, right door, two buttons
My garage door remote has three buttons – I only use one.
There are 5 remotes sitting next to me. The one with the least number of buttons has 32. the one with the most has 53.
Bad thing about those remotes, if you hit the wrong button by accident, you’re screwed, unless you are “tech savvy”. :-D
The “mute” button on our TV remote wears out every couple of years as we mute all ads. I’ve had to do a few button-ectomies and move buttons we don’t use up into the mute space.
