I guess the kitchen staff went home before it got bad.

Funny that there’s a blizzard trapping kids in Crankenshaft, too. But those kids are camping out in a movie theater. Lucky them…

You’d think the school would have something for blizzards, it is Canada not Palm Springs, after all.

Nowadays no school will offer kids a peanut butter sandwich.

in small towns like that, most kids went home for lunch, and others packed their own, we don’t have “kitchen staff” like american schools

It’s looking bad,Mr Warren might have to send out a hunting party on the dog sled,to round up any moose or carabou lurking nearby.

I’m not sure that peanut butter in bulk is such a good idea. Peanut allergies are in the news, now a days.

They are still rare. Know your self on this.

Snowmobilers volunteer to take check on places snowed in and see what supplies are needed. They can get through. It’s Canada. Lots of snowmobilers up there.

All the kids really need is one piece of bread with peanut butter on it. Don’t really need the other piece of bread. Will all be over soon!

Can’t believe the cafeteria does not have anything on hand to put together a quick meal.

Forget it! Football is just as popular here as the U.S. And we have our own league,as well as yours to obsess over.

If we got stranded at work, we have vending machines. Although we might have to break into them if the power goes out.

As long as he’s there, he might as well stock up on coffee and hot chocolate. Let’s hope the shopkeeper still accepts checks since the credit card machine isn’t working. No power…

Those would be the old manual mechanical ones, not electrical connected to a computer.
