Other than Farley, is there any reason for Ellie to return to her own house? If I was her, I would have gotten Farley and taken him back to Connie’s. I can’t imagine wanting to be alone in a house with no electricity during a blizzard.

I wonder what John is up to being snowed out.

Battery house radio! How unusual.

A spat over autos and you get to sleep with the dog. Seems backwards.

They should neuter that dog.

The Humane Society has said that it is the right thing to do to have your pets neutered. Having an intact dog or cat is an act of animal cruelty as they do not have rationalism towards reproduction as do people. In addition, people do not give birth to litters, whereas dogs and cats do. Only a few from any litter get adopted, the rest get drowned or released into the wild as feral animals. Breeders have their pets sold before breeding takes place.

For no electric why is the radio on takes electricity to power radio. Elly Farley can keep you warm.

Several dogs have saved their owner’s life by keeping them warm while they were stranded. I’m not saying she should kiss him because there are too many germs, but I’d get close to the fuzzy guy.

In western Illinois (40 deg. N) we’ve had ice storms that knocked out power for days. Transistor radios have been available for years.
