Wait, the lights went out which means it must have been night, so how did time roll back?

As for the teacher, if you are praying to get away from your students, do them and yourself a favor and find a new career path.

Yes, there is power in prayer imho albeit a bit selfish on his part if he just wanted to get away from his students as Lucy Hanouille intimated . . but still, it would’ve been freezing all night in the school and who knows if he was able to buy all those sandwich supplies or not.

And this is how the idea that prayer works is promoted. Illogical and all.

I would cut Mr Warren some slack for not wanting to be storm-stayed at school with his students. At his age he needs his rest, and the younger teachers might be adventurous enough to enjoy it.mr Warren needs to get home and pray for retirement!

This teacher should relish a beer or two or three when he eventually gets home tonight. It is small compensation for the extra hours and is a meager form of “overtime pay” I guess. :)

Tyge: You give it a rest. We don’t need your empty religion being forced on the public as a state religion, nor do we need a dictatorship. The last time that notion went by, it used the motto, “Der Fürher befehl, wir folgen” – the leader commands, we follow – the official motto of the Nazi Party. You follow your leader, but leave civilized people alone.
