Fatty acids, fatty acids, 2 by 4. Can’t fit through the cell membrane’s door.

Oh, pastured chickens! I was wondering how they managed to pasteurize a hen and still get it to lay eggs!

BTW, let’s just call them “sturdy acids”. Or maybe “well-built acids”? “Plus-sized acids”?

Fatty acids are needed for healthy cell membranes, Janis.

Don’t worry, Janis; turns out (true fact) that all those studies ~50 years ago showing how eating fat made us become obese & die were paid for by the sugar industry – so we wouldn’t notice that it was eating sugar that was making us get obese & die.

Yeah. All the things that are bad for you now but later weren’t. And remember the preponderance of scientists said so. Where have we heard that lately? BTW. Do you know why farmers don’t eat brown eggs? Because “educated” city folks pay twice as much for them as plain ole white eggs (which they eat). At least that’s what my local Community Farmer said.

Depending on state they live in, might be legal now for Janis to smoke a fatty to alleviate her anxiety.

Brown eggs are from Rhode Island Red chickens. They have absolutely no health benefits beyond white eggs, but people are gullible enough to pay a premium price.

We used to have several different “exotic” breeds of hens. Any given morning our breakfast might consist of white, brown, blue or green eggs, (or even a goose egg or two.)

I thought the only way to pasteurize a chicken is to boil it.

Free range is what nature intended. Factory food with chemicals is an abomination, and does not taste as good. http://www.motherearthnews.com/natural-health/free-range-eggs-zmaz09fmzraw

Regarding egg types – I prefer mine from chickens kept as close to a healthy state for them as I can get them. I’ll keep egg layers myself one of these days (maybe in my retirement). So, I buy as much as I can from farmers providing fresh air, grass that’s outside (with inside shelter from carnivores and freezing temps), bugs and worms etc the chickens forage with their grains, and only as much supplementation as needed by today’s breeds or because of winter weather. The eggs are wonderful! I don’t buy much meat, so the extra cost is not onerous. We need proteins, but not as much as the “standard” American diet.

just how do you pasturize a chicken before you kill it!? I know how the pasturize milk, but it’s not walking around making more milk. I’ll have to google this one.

Think of it this way without any body fat you would die. You would have to eat whatever animal fat you can find even human. On an early “Sliders” they reached an Earth where a “Weight Loss” drug, was too successful. The organism that it was composed of consumed all the fat in their bodies turning people into fat consuming zombies. The brain is a major use of carbohydrates and fat.

I’m getting tired of Janis’s ignorance and lack of education. Of course she is created by Jimmy and she is this way so everyone can laugh at her. I can’t help thinking, though, “Doesn’t she EVER read anything?”
