Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling for December 09, 2016
Transcript:
Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling The world at a crossroads, inexorable forces create tipping points that pose grave challenges for all humanity. Technological advances bringing disparate cultures and economies closer together, making the world more interdependent and teetering on delicate equilibria. Exponentially increasing computing capacity causing shifts in income and wealth distributions that will create unprecedented breaks in the social order. Anthropogenic global warming, putting us on the brink of cataclysmic changes to the Earth unseen in the entire history of the human species. What wise and visionary leader is in place to usher our nation and world into an age so full of potential and yet fraught with danger? Donald Trump: MY FEELINGS ARE HURT! Woman: Yes, we want that hotel there. Do what it takes. Steve Bannon: They're a bunch of dykes.

“Sure, he says mean things, and he has the most awful friends, and he’s already walked back anything decent that he promised on the campaign, but he’ll change when he’s inaugurated! I just KNOW he will!”

Middle class Trump supporters have a grim four years ahead. As a Democrat, I’m disappointed —but on the other hand, I’m going to get a nice tax cut!!

It’s not hard to predict what Trump will do. Start by recognizing he’s not a politician; he’s a celebrity brand. Everything he does is intended to strengthen his brand. It is all he has ever done and it is all he will ever do. Nothing else matters.

Humanity is losing it’s compassion, primarily due to less face to face interaction. Hate crimes are becoming the norm to communicate with real people.

The Middle Class is still shrinking, so is the old ice at the two poles. Both with the help of Humanity.

This man is lacking in empathy. I don’t know if this is by choice or by upbringing or genetic. People who lack empathy lack compassion because they can’t comprehend what others feel, No Clue.If there was such a self-centered man in a leadership role, I can’t think of one.I hope that when he was made they broke the mold.I have to wonder if he is in fact autistic.People with autism have trouble relating to anyone but themselves. I have know some amazing autistics who have achieved great things Temple Grandin for 1, Donald has achieved fame and notoriety.

How di we have 2 candidates who were such terrible choices that most votes cast, seemed to all be votes against who was worse. We haven’t had worse candidates Ever.A criminal and a clown.People voting out of fear for one or the other.I couldn’t bring myself to vote for either. I wish we could force a third party, or fourth party into being.

As much as Conservatives were against Obama as president, the world survived, and even with the wailings of the Liberals, it will do the same with Trump as president!

What’s really funny is that this strip accuses the right of doing what the liberal left does every day to anybody that disagrees with them.
