The fact that Bleeker didn’t even try to stop him (not that it would have worked) makes me think that this was a setup. I bet he even made the button shiny! Skip may be an idiot but Bleeker’s (more than) a bit of a jerk. They deserve each other.
I seem to remember Mahood mentioning that he’s actually toned down Skip’s callousness. That makes me wonder just how bad he was before. I’ll have to flip through the archives…
