    Ted is short for Theodore. Ted Talks are educational or motivational or just people talking because they like the sound of their voices… When (Theodore)Ted talks, then he is ted talking.

    ted talks are a series of talks that you can find on the internet. if you have a streaming device such as a roku you can get a channel of them.

    I actually learned what Ted talks were by googling after they were mentioned on some other comic on this site a while ago. The comics are so educational. I have yet to watch an actual Ted talk, though.

    An old show biz aphorism is “If you have to explain the joke, it isn’t funny.” It is even harder to make a bilingual pun. The only one I have found was “l’Homme, un mot generique que aussi embrasse la femme.” But even that was from a French Canadian newspaper.
